Britney Spears is not so happy with Alyssa Milano. Days after returning to Instagram, Spears called out the actress for raising concerns about the pop star’s well-being.
It started in December when Milano seemingly responded to an Instagram video the “Toxic” singer posted. “Someone please go check on Britney Spears,” Milano wrote in a Dec. 22 tweet.
Looks like Spears just got wind of the message. On Tuesday night, she posted a screenshot of the tweet, accusing Milano of “bullying.”
“It saddens me to see things about me from people who don’t know me!!! This definitely feels like a form of bullying,” says the intersection star wrote on her Instagram story, adding, “Ladies, we should be rooting for each other and not putting each other down!”
Milano isn’t the only one worried about Spears. Last week, police were called to the singer’s home after fans became concerned when she deleted her Instagram account. Spears was not happy with the move.
“I love and adore my fans but this time it went a bit too far and my privacy was invaded,” Spears wrote on social media, claiming that police “quickly realized there was no problem and immediately left .”
The singer added: “This felt like I was being set on and bullied as the incident made the news and was again portrayed in a bad and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life I really hope that the public and my fans people I care about so much can now respect my privacy.”
Spears returned to Instagram this weekend and picked up where she left off by posting multiple dance videos. In a now-deleted caption, she said she “didn’t have a breakdown”.
“Because everyone thinks they know my story. THINK AGAIN,” she said. “It is what it is…no, I’m not having a breakdown…I am who I am and am moving forward in my life. I’ve never felt better!!!”
